What is Clean my mess?

Clean my mess is a workflow that helps you batch-send open media tabs into folders so you can close noise and still keep what matters.

Using Clean my mess

Using Clean my mess

Watch the walkthrough, then follow these steps: 1. Launch from the extension — When too many playback tabs are open, open the extension’s Clean my mess action. 2. Review and assign folders — Review the suggested items and choose folders that match how you want them grouped. 3. Close tabs safely — Close the tabs you no longer need once items are safely in QueueFy. Example: you have twelve YouTube tabs from a research rabbit hole. Run Clean my mess, send three talks to a “Learning” folder and the rest to “Watch later,” then close the tabs — your queue keeps everything organized.

Common issues

Clean my mess does not list my tabs

Open supported playback tabs first (for example YouTube), then launch Clean my mess from the extension toolbar.

Will QueueFy close all my tabs?

No — not automatically without your say-so. At the end of the Clean my mess flow, you choose whether QueueFy should close your tabs after saving them into folders, or leave them open if you still need them.

Does Clean my mess work only with YouTube?

Yes. For now, Clean my mess is exclusive to YouTube tabs. It gathers your open YouTube tabs, classifies them, and saves them into your QueueFy folders.

Suggested folders look wrong

Review each batch before confirming — you can change destination folders per item or group.

I closed tabs and need one back

Use your browser history to reopen the page. If you saved it to QueueFy, open it from the folder queue.
