What is Clean my mess?

Clean my mess is a browser-extension workflow that scans your open YouTube video tabs, extracts details (title, thumbnail, duration), suggests a destination folder for each item, and saves them into your Qefy workspace in bulk.

Clean my mess tutorial: step by step

1. Open a few YouTube video tabs

In your browser, open the YouTube videos you want to process. Clean my mess works best when you have multiple tabs you want to organize at once.

2. Launch Clean my mess from the extension

Open the Qefy extension and start the Clean my mess flow. It will scan your current window for YouTube video tabs and begin extracting metadata.

3. Review results and choose folders

For each detected video, confirm the title and suggested folder. If AI folder suggestions are enabled, use them to speed up triage—then adjust any folder that doesn’t match your structure.

4. Save everything to Qefy (and optionally close tabs)

Click save to send items into Qefy. You can choose to keep tabs open or close them after saving—Qefy won’t close anything without your confirmation.
