What is cross-device sync?

Cross-device sync keeps your QueueFy workspace aligned across devices. When you sign in on multiple devices (desktop, tablet, mobile), your folders and queue state stay consistent—and you can use remote controls when playback is running elsewhere.

Cross-device sync tutorial: step by step

1. Sign in on your devices

Open QueueFy in a browser on each device you use and sign in with the same account. Your workspace is tied to your account, so this is the foundation of sync.

2. Verify your folders and queue are aligned

Pick a folder on device A, add or move an item, then check device B. QueueFy should reflect the same folder structure and queue state once connectivity is available.

3. Control playback remotely (when another device is playing)

If playback is running on a different device (the executor), use QueueFy’s remote playback controls to play/pause, seek, adjust speed, and stop—without switching the primary playback context.

4. Use the extension as the playback executor when needed

If you’re using the browser extension for autoplay, it can act as the playback executor on that machine while other devices control or organize the queue.
